Eamon McEvoy

We would like to wish all the best to Eamon McEvoy who is retiring from his Assistant Principal position in Little Island National School. Eamon is a long standing member of the club and is the current Irish M60 5000m champion. A top runner we hope that this will result in him going even faster with all the extra training he will get in!!

Dublin Marathon, 31st October, 2011

Congratulations to everyone who ran so well in difficult conditions on Monday. Warm, humid and windy conditions are not ideal for any race, let alone a marathon. The race looked fantastic on tv however so I hope you all enjoyed it, insofar as you can enjoy a marathon! Enjoy a well earned rest. Not all results are correctly on the Dublin Marathon website yet so this is just what I have so far. They say they will have the issues rectified by Thursday so hopefully I will be able to update this soon. If I missed anyone, e-mail your race number to me at oregan.dave@gmail.com.
