Cork City Marathon 2010

Best of luck to all St. Finbarr’s A.C. athletes who are lining up for next Monday’s marathon.  Between marathon and relay runners the club will be very well represented on the roads around Cork so wear the club vest with pride and to all supporters and friends don’t forget to shout “Comon’ the Barr’s” when you see clubmates passing by.

We will gather afterwards for our traditional post event refreshments in Clancy’s Bar, Princes Street.

Great Island Run

Well done to all St. Finbarr’s A.C. athletes who participated in the inaugural Great Island 10 mile road race on Sunday, 18th April 2010.  There was a huge field for this race and the club was very well represented.  Margo Dinan swept to victory in the ladies race while Con Marshall took second in the men’s race.  Congratulations to both of them and all the other members who lined out to represent the club.
