Cork City 10 Miler Cancellation 2020

It is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of the John Buckley Sports Cork City 10 Miler 2020.

The difficult decision was made in light of the COVID-19 measures and restrictions and overall health and well-being of all runners, supporters and volunteers.

St. Finbarr’s AC are delighted to be host club of the race and welcome all joggers & runners to take part in the event in 2021.

The 10 mile road race attracts a growing number of participants each summer and has firmly secured its place as a favourite in the running calendar year.

The race route takes participants around Cork’s most visited amenity areas: The Marina walkway following the river Lee, The Blackrock Loop and The Old Railway Line.

The John Buckley Sports Cork City 10 Miler, an Athletics Ireland registered event, has a flat and fast course which proves popular with fun and elite runners alike.

Start line, finish line and final route details for 2021 yet to be confirmed. Watch this space!
