Cross Country Club Event Sunday 25th September

A club event for members, who are interested in running Cross Country this Autumn/ Winter will take place Sunday September 25th 2022.

Meet Time: Warm up 10.30 (stretches and strides with Dan).

Event Start Time: 11am

Meeting Point: Tramore Valley Park (top of the grass dome to the East of the car park)

The main purpose of the event is to get people back running on grass while putting teams together for the upcoming cross country season.

There will be cross country events happening throughout October, November, December and into February 2023.

The more members to take part in the cross country events the better. There is a place for everyone on a team.

With Novice, Novice B, Senior, Intermediate and Masters races for Cork, Munster and Nationals there is a race for everyone.

Let’s wash out the fields of Cork and Munster with a sea of Barr’s jerseys!

This club event on Sunday 25th September at 11am will be held at Tramore Valley Park.

For those experimenting with cross country for the first time, there will be no need for spikes for the trial, unless there is heavy rain in the intervening period.

Feel free to wear regular runners or spikes for this one!

Any queries on this event can go to Coach Dan Kennedy 0872136827.

Anyone not available to run, but available to help out on the day, please also contact Dan as some stewards are required.
