The final event of our 75th Anniversary celebration took place last Saturday 3rd October in the Kingsley Hotel.

VIPs include the Lord Mayor of Cork Cllr Damian Boylan, President of Athletics Ireland, Brid Golden and Chairperson of Cork County Board Michael Flynn.

Our panels of Marion Lyons, Fergus O’Donovan and Dan Kennedy followed by Eamonn McEvoy, Mary Sweeney and John Buckley relived some club memories, from the early years at its foundation in 1951 into the present day. Members, training, achievements, races and humourous stories including some county, national and international events being recounted.

Thank you to all who attended our events over the past 3 months.

Looking forward to out centenary celebrations in 2051!!!!
